Barton Springs Software is looking for experienced Cocoa developers in the Austin area for full-time work on a next-generation Mac desktop application targeting the Leopard release of Mac OS X. We have several positions open so if you have professional Cocoa experience under your belt, we would like to hear from you.
Basic Requirements:
- Extensive experience using the Macintosh platform
- Several years experience coding with Cocoa on Mac OS X, at least one year professionally
- Some familiarity with other programming languages such as ANSI C, C++, and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or PHP
Scale-tippers:
- Experience with XML-based network protocols is a very strong plus
- Good familiarity with Mac UI design concepts (intuitiveness and cleanliness of design) is a strong plus
- Experience creating custom views and controls is a strong plus
- Experience with coding or designing shipping Mac OS X applications is a strong plus
- Exposure to pre-release Leopard seeds and APIs would be helpful
